“Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting”.1 Corinthians. 15:55
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is law” is what the Holy Scriptures states and it is the powers of it which makes us see in the way it is. (1 Corinthians. 15:5,6) The law was given so that sin might increase and all that happened in the past certainly reminds us of the consequences of rejecting the laws of God. It was only when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit that they become conscious of their nakedness and the awful result of them sin caused the downfall of many. The world had to be cursed because of sin and the world is still under condemnation because of the sentence passed on her because of her illicit sin.
In the Bible the Holy Scripture states that all sinners will be destroyed and the future of the wicked will be cut off. The tragic happenings of the past and present clearly depicts the fulfillment of all the sentences passed against sinners and more of it are still to come. The point is this :Destruction will surely come upon the wicked but for the ones who are in Christ the powers of the Most High will protect, empower and raise them up. For those who has the Spirit of Christ there will be no condemnation and the eyes of God will surely be upon those who truly loves God for the Lord knows those who are His (Romans 8:1) (2 Timothy 2: 19) This will certainly give you a clear picture of what grace is and of what commitment should be it is the power of this sacred truth which will impact, transform and convict the holy lovers of God to greater heights of greater intimacy with God. Trust this, if we know what grace means, we will know what love is. Since Jesus Christ conquered the grave, we can now live a victoriously by living in the power of the Holy Spirit. Grace is what Christ is and when we live in Christ we live under Grace. Grace kneels, Grace cries and grace protects. God is Grace.
