- DIMAPUR — Subsequent upon the recent development that
occurred at Naga Unification Camp, Khehoi, on March 22, nine commands and units
of the Naga army, GPRN/NSCN (U) had deliberated on the situation and arrived at
a decision to resolutely support the leadership of its president, Gen.
(retired) MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh, till the Naga
peoples’ aspiration is achieved.
- The name of the Naga army commands and units included Tobu
command led by its commander, Col. Shelen and second-in-command Col. Leangan;
Longleng district command led by its commander, Col. Ako Phom, and
second-in-command, Lieut. Col. Y Kaiba; Aboi command led by its commander, Col.
Nangba, and second-in-command, Lieut. Ape; Mon dist command led by its
commander, Brig. Khenle, and second-in-command, Lieut. Khole; Naganimora
command led by its commander, Col. Hatau, and second-in-command, Col. Gannat;
Tizit command led by its commander, Col. Wangkap, and second-in-command, Maj.
Amon; Tuensang command led by its commander, Col. Vighoto Aye, and
second-in-command, Lieut. Col. Kihoto Yim; Athibung command led by its commander, Lieut. Col.
Shikahoto Sumi, and second-in-command, Capt. Poangam Singson; and Zeliangrong
command led by its commander, Capt. Dardu, and second-in-command, 2 Lieut.
Nzuokau.

- In a separate statement, four regional authority consisting
Chang, Khiamniungan, Nothern Sumi and Union Territory(UT-1) have reaffirmed
their unflinching support for the GPRN/NSCN (U) led by its president, Gen.
(retired) MB. Neokpao Konyak and Ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh.
- Meanwhile, the Eastern Nagaland National Workers’
Association (ENNWA) of the GPRN/GPRN (Unification), in a meeting held on April
4, has unanimously affirmed to fully support the collective leadership of its
president, Gen. (retired) MB Neokapao Konyak, and Ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh.
- The association expressed hope that peace and tranquility
would prevail within the Naga brothers and further endorsed its collective
leadership to pursue for reconciliation in the true spirit of oneness.
- The meeting was attended by hosts of senior lilonsers and
Naga army personnel including Hothrung (MCL), Tochu Phom (ACL).
