- DIMAPUR — The
GPRN/NSCN (Unification) has refuted the news item which has been going viral on
all social media platforms, which claimed that the organisation has informed
all members of GBs’ association including its constituent frontal organisations
within Aghunaqa area under Niuland district to attend the meeting on May 10 at
Kukami Hohoki, Aghunaqa HQ, at 10 am.
- “The GPRN/NSCN Unification led by its president, Gen.
(retired) MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh, clearly reiterate that
the word ‘Unification’ has nothing to do or has no relevance with N Kitovi
Zhimomi whatsoever, on the very day when he disowned the very word
‘Unification’ from the vocabulary of the Naga revolutionary movement that has
been recorded deep inside the tapestry of Naga history, as on many occasions he
clearly stated that since many factions sprung out from the Unification whereas
he ignored his own responsibility for all these outcomes, he also stated that
he would rather prefer to christen his faction as the GPRN/NSCN
(Kitovi-Mhathang),” the statement read.

- “It is, definitely clear that the Naga people must not keep
themselves under confusion despite of Mr. Kitovi’s own confession and rejection
of the foundation where he actually stands on,” it added.
- It, therefore, appealed to both the Naga people in
particular and the GOI in general, not to be confused between the GPRN/NSCN,
Naga Unification, led by its president, MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser,
Alezo Venuh, from that of the GPRN/NSCN (Kitovi-Mhathang).
