Against the recent news reports mentioning GPRN/NSCN of withdrawing support to peace accord and resignation tendered by its President Gen.Rtd.Khole Konyak, the GPRN/NSCN through its MIP secretary Moa Walling has denied that the outfit has in no point of time or occasion has declared of supporting or not supporting the peace accord between government of India and NSCN IM, “since GPRN has nothing to do with any accord or agreement that has signed between them we acknowledge and appreciate the accord or deal between them if it is something good for them’’ and therefore we don’t have problem neither oppose for what they are doing.”
On the news of President Khole Konyak resignation, Moa Walling said that the President has never tendered his resignation nor the government has any such issues.
“It is just a small brains game which is trying to complicate the Naga issue or maybe some group trying to create more mistrust and misunderstandings among the members but he has assured that this kind of little tricks won’t have any negative impact toward the integrity of GPRN/NSCN, we are well aware of such propagations and dirty politics played upon, the Government will take its proper inquiry and initiate serious action towards those who are trying to tarnish the images of GPRN/NSCN,” Moa Walling stated.
