
The leadership of GPRN/NSCN (Kitovi) and others during the
oath-taking ceremony on Thursday.
- DIMAPUR — The
GPRN/NSCN organised the third phase oath-taking ceremony on Thursday, with 57
new members, including kilonsers, deputy kilonsers, and tatars, participating.
- According to an update, the programme was chaired by
Achumthung Lotha, chief secretary of GPRN/NSCN (Kitovi), and the invocation
prayer was pronounced by Apong, assistant chaplain, followed by a welcome
address from Hukavi Yepthomi, Kilonser of Kilo Affairs.
- In his speech, Yepthomi welcomed all the newly inducted
members, while party discipline was read out by Jimmy Lotha, i/c NTH, who urged
all members to uphold and follow the Yehzabo diligently.
- A speech on the present political scenario was delivered by
Ato Kilonser N Kitovi Zhimomi, who stressed the importance of the Agreed
Position and its impact on future generations in society. He urged all members
to stay true to the Naga cause and to the people.
- A blessing prayer was conducted by Hokiye L Awomi, MRA
Kilonser, for the new members.
- President RM Lotha and Deputy Ato Kilonser Jungshiwati of
GPRN/NSCN, in their speeches, encouraged all the oath-takers to have a strong
moral character and determination towards the Naga Political Issue and its
early solution. The oath-taking was administered by Ebibemo Lotha, Speaker of
NTH.
