GPRN/NSCN officials arrested by Assam Rifles were Capt. Wangyok Konyak, Lt. Tangtao Konyak, Corp. Khongkang Konyak, and Corp. Wangying Konyak. GPRN/ NSCN alleged that its officials were arrested without any documents, arms or ammunition save mobile phones and sim cards.

They were later handed over to authorities under Mon Police Station.
GPRN/NSCN through its MIP said the concocted story which the AR planted was nothing new, saying dubiously they can name any number of arms and ammunition expecting bravery awards and citations.
It urged the 35 AR to respect Ceasefire Ground Rules and stop using baseless allegations to arrested members of GPRN/NSCN.
It also stated that Lt. Tangtao Konyak, while under custody in district jail, faced serious health issues but was denied timely medical treatment. It said bail application applied to the district administration for medical treatment was also declined for reasons best known to them. Unfortunately, Lt.
