GPRN/NNC (Apex Body) condemns alleged impersonation by SS Pongkhu Yim

DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NNC (Apex Body) council of kilonsers and army wings held an emergency meeting on November 30, condemning the alleged "unauthorised and treacherous impersonation" of its name by "impeached" SS Pongkhu Yim and his group to mislead the Nagas.

In a press release, the GPRN/NNC (AB) MIP clarified that SS Pongkhu Yim was terminated, as his activities were contrary to Christian ethos and the national Yezabo.

The collective leadership of the GPRN/NNC (AB) warned that serious action shall be initiated against SS Pongkhu if he continues to use the name GPRN/NNC (AB) and tarnish the good name of the government.

The MIP reminded SS Pongkhu that the sacrifice of Nagas and their call for national movement should not be misused for his personal gain and survival.

Adding that the GPRN/NNC (AB) will not tolerate misuse and interference of its activities by certain disgruntled elements, it further reminded that “he was invited to be the acting president, and it is a disgrace on his part to claim the name GPRN/NNC (AB)”.

It stated that SS Pongkhu should remember that he was against the use of the name GPRN/NNC (AB) as he "lacks the basic intellect to comprehend the meaning of APEX body" and it was the brainchild of Francis Kikon.
