Dimapur, March 18 (EMN): The department of School Education has ordered holding back graduate teachers who had been promoted to “JEO/AHM” but do not possess the professional qualification of B.Ed. They have been directed not to join their new posting until further orders, an order from the department stated on Saturday.
The formal order stated: “It has been brought to the notice of the government that, some of the graduate teachers who were promoted as JEO/AHM vide Order NO. DSE/PROM/1-78/2015, dated 11/03/2017 do not possess the professional qualification of B.Ed. (They) are directed not to join their new posting as JEO/AHM and remain in their present place of posting as graduate teachers until further orders.”Also, other newly-promoted JEO/AHM are directed to submit their B.Ed certificates for verification to the Additional Director (HOD), directorate of School Education by the 31st of March, 2017. Failing to do so will entail cancellation of the promotion, the note added.
