Govt. team in Tuensang’s disputed area

EMN Dimapur, April 29 A team of government officials are in Tuensang district to examine the case of a disputed land in the district which led to a recent outbreak of violence between two communities. The government’s team is led by the sub divisional officer (civil) of Tuensang Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS. He is accompanied by the extra assistant commissioner of Shamator, and ‘doubashi’ of Tuensang, Shamator, and Panso villages. The team inspected the disputed areas with land owners on April 28. SDO Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon visited the disputed area between Chandang and Yakhor villages for spot verification. The officials will be submitting their findings to the higher authorities for necessary action.
