Dimapur, November 19 : Informed to be an initiative of the governor of Nagaland PB Acharya, and the Indian National Fellowship Centre, an NGO based in Mumbai, the Rotary Club of Bombay will be installing sets of e-learning equipments in 28 government higher secondary schools across Nagaland.
The Wockhardt Foundation a Multinational Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Company, headquarters at Mumbai, will install the e-learning machines in 11 districts of Nagaland besides equipment maintenance services for the next three years. A memorandum will be signed by the recipient schools separately.
During the first phase, schools in Kohima and Dimapur were covered. In Kohima district, the government higher secondary schools of- Ruzukhrie, Sekhazou, Tseminyu, and TM GHSS were covered. For Dimapur district, the government higher secondary schools of- Half Nagarjan was mentioned. The installation of e-learning equipments in the five government schools were completed on November 14.
