Govt revises SEC members

Dimapur, June 13 (EMN): In a partial modification, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) under Home Department has revised the composition of State Executive Committee (SEC) members as provided under the Disaster Management Act 2005. The decision to revise the composition of the SEC was taken during its meeting on January 30 under the chairmanship of the State chief secretary. According to the revised structure, SEC will consist of the Chief Secretary as chairman, along with State Commissioner; Development Commissioner; Finance Commissioner; Home Commissioner & CEO NSDMA; Commissioner & Secretary of Power; Commissioner & Secretary of Finance; Commissioner & Secretary of H&FW; Commissioner & Secretary of Agriculture; Commissioner & Secretary of PWD; Commissioner & Secretary of Geology & Mining; Commissioner & Secretary of Rural Development; Commissioner & Secretary of PHE; Commissioner & Secretary of Urban Development; Commissioner & Secretary of Irrigation & Flood Control; Commissioner & Secretary of Forest, Environment & Climate Change; Commissioner & Secretary of Soil & Water Conservation; Commissioner & Secretary of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry; and Special Secretary of Home as members. Director General of Police and Director CD&HG and Prisons will be special invitees. The SEC may invite any other considered relevant to the committee.
