Civic body elections
Dimapur, November 8 : In supersession of Municipal Affairs department's notification No. UDD/MAC-7/2009 (Pt.II) dated 27/02/2012 and in pursuance of the provisions contained in the Nagaland Municipal (First Amendment) Act, 2006, the Governor of Nagaland has ordered reservation of seats in various wards for women in the ensuing Municipal and Town Council elections.
Chief Secretary RB Thong issued a notification to this effect on October 27. The notification was circulated in the social media on Tuesday.
