Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland F.P. Solo today said that despite clear official notifications and verbal communications, transfer/postings and appointments are being carried out in the Directorate of School Education without the knowledge and approval of the government.
In order to streamline the department, the government has laid down procedures to be strictly observed and implemented.
As such all applications, recommendations received directly from VVIPs/VIPs for appointment, transfer and posting including those endorsed by the Minister, School Education & SCERT, Nagaland be compiled and sent to the Government forthnightly.

All such applications/recommendations should be carefully examined by the directorates expeditiously and forwarded to the government showing clear vacancy position.
In case of appointment of teachers to a particular school, the number of existing teachers and entitlement of the school should also be clearly indicated.
While processing the cases for appointment, the reservation policy for Backward Areas should be kept in mind.
The transfer posting/appointment of contingency/contract/casual/adhoc and Hindi should be forwarded to the government for final approval.
The AG/Treasury Officer/ Sub-Treasury Officer/ DEO/ SDEO/ Principals/ HMs should not accept any appointment or transfer order which does not have the Govt. approval order No.
vii) All proposals with the remarks/comments from any VVIPs/VIPs or concerned Minister should be submitted to the government for final approval of the Govt.
The above instructions should be strictly followed with immediate effect, failing which the concerned Departmental officer will be held responsible.
