Govt constitutes SLAC under SBM-U

Dimapur, April 1 (EMN): The Urban Development Department in a notification informed that in pursuant to Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development and as per amended guidelines of Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U) (Section 11.2.1), the Government of Nagaland has constituted the State Level Advisory Committee (SLAC) under SBM-U to discharge the powers and functions of the State High Powered Committee (SHPSC). The State level Advisory committee consisted of secretary of Urban Development Department as chairman, State Mision Director, SBM-U as convenor and secretary of Public Health Engineering Department as member, secretary of Finance Department and Director of Municipal Affairs as members. Any other members may be co-opted by the committee. The functions of the SLAC under SBM-U shall be as Para II (i-xvi) of notification of even number dated April 19.
