Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Secretary of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Dr. Inderjit Singh, has assured to expedite the ongoing projects under NESIDS in Nagaland which is 100% funding by the government of India.
Singh made this assurance to the state minister of planning and coordination and land revenue, Neiba Kronu, when the later called on him on March 6. The minister was accompanied by the additional development commissioner, Nosazol Charles.
A press release issued by Thomas Thailu, officer on special duty, stated that the secretary has assured of his full support in bringing development activities to a reality. He has also asked the state government to move fast in submitting the required documents.
It stated that the minister had requested the new secretary of his continued support towards the region in order to come up apart with the rest of the country. He also assured the secretary of his full support in carrying out development activities in the state of Nagaland.
Earlier, Kronu also met Radhey Shyam Julaniya, who has recently taken over as secretary in the ministry of youth and sports affairs, GoI. He requested the secretary to support for more infrastructure schemes for the state of Nagaland as the youth of the state has lots of potentials. He was optimistic that with the given facilities, the youth could excel and show mark in the field of sports and in turn boost the youth with positive attitude in life.
