Governor P B Acharya has expressed shock and sadness on the loss of 13 lives in a bus accident at Phek district on March 13. The Governor, in a message, has conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families and prayed that Almighty God will grant strength to bear the irreparable loss. He further wished for a speedy recovery for those who injured in the mishap.
Meanwhile, State Governor P B Acharya today undertook an aerial survey of the Dzukou Valley on his way back after returning after attending 28th General Conference of Zeliangrong Heraka Pailei Baudi at Jalukie. While expressing concern over the devastating fire in the valley, Acharya has sought the help of all the sections of the public to assist the government machineries to control the fire which may even affect the ecological balance of the State.
