DIMAPUR — Governor La Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have greeted the Sümi community on the occasion of Tuluni festival. 


“Tuluni, the premier festival of the Sümi tribe, marks a season of abundance and thanksgiving and is a time to celebrate hard work, unity and prosperity. It is also a moment to strengthen bonds of kinship and reaffirm our shared values of peace and goodwill,” the governor stated in a message issued on Monday.


He expressed hope that the festival will bring joy, harmony and renewed strength to everyone.


Meanwhile, the chief minister conveyed his greetings on X.


“I extend my heartfelt greetings to our Sumi brothers and sisters on the joyous occasion of Tuluni. May the festival usher in prosperity, strengthen unity, and bring blessings of a bountiful harvest,” Rio wrote in a post.
