DIMAPUR — Governor La Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the Chang community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Naknyulum festival.
In a message issued on Tuesday, the governor described Naknyulum as a celebration of the triumph of light over darkness and a symbol of unity, peace, and prosperity.
“It is a time to honour age-old traditions, strengthen bonds within the community and seek blessings for a harmonious future,” he stated.
The governor urged citizens to use the occasion to preserve the state’s rich cultural heritage and foster mutual respect among all communities.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio also conveyed his greetings through a social media post.
“I extend my warm greetings to the Chang community on the occasion of Naknyulüm, a festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. May the celebration bring blessings of good health and strengthen unity and goodwill among all,” Rio posted on X.
