Dimapur, Dec. 8: State Governor PB Acharya inaugurated a newly constructed building for the security people at Raj Bhavan, Kohima, on December 5.
Speaking at the inaugural function, the Governor encouraged security forces to cordially work with one another and called upon them to stay comfortably while they are on duty and to look after the building as their own property.
The new building committee from Raj Bhavan was also setup to look after the work with Deputy Secretary, George Abraham along with Secretariat Assistants Ngope Zehol and Thsurhetho Phoji as members. Nokjem Longchar, JE from PWD, assisted the work. The new building was constructed at an estimated amount of Rs 55.80 lakh.
