Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Governor PB Acharya has wished the Angami community on the occasion of the community’s Sekrenyi festival.
According to a Raj Bhavan statement on Sunday, Acharya ‘expressed confidence that the festival would help to purify one’s heart and soul in the truest form.’
He observed that Sekrenyi festival was an occasion for merrymaking and ‘giving one a welcomed break from daily routine.’ The governor said it was an occasion to rededicate oneself, with renewed vigour, to achieve peace, progress and prosperity.
