Governor greets

EMN Dimapur, DECEMBER 20 Governor P B Acharya has extended his “warmest greetings to all my brothers and sisters” on this auspicious occasion of Christmas. In a message the Governor said that it is the birth of Jesus Christ, and “we celebrate this day by giving presents/gifts with the warmth and love of Christmas spirit”. The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and generosity and of goodness, the message said. “It also reflects a dedication to helping those in need, to giving hope to one in despair, and to spread peace and understanding throughout the earth. On this day, we all pray to God for the well-being of all, for Peace and Prosperity, for Development and for happiness of everyone,” it added.The Governor then said that Christmas “always brings out the best in us” like forgiveness and a sense of brotherhood in all walks of our lives. “Let us pledge and work ourselves for Unity & Peace of Nagaland and pray to God to give us wisdom and strength to achieve this.” “I once again extend my warmest greetings on the occasion of Christmas to all. Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year 2016,” the message added.
