DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor, La. Ganesan, has condoled the demise of former minister, SK Sangtam, who passed away in Dimapur on December 7 after a prolonged illness.
Ganesan stated that SK Sangtam had served the government and the people of Nagaland in different capacities. He lamented that in his death, the state has lost a dedicated public leader. He added that his contributions to the people of Nagaland in various assignments would be remembered for a long time.
He has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
In another statement, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of Planning and Transformation and National Highway, TR Zeliang, has described SK Sangtam as a tall leader whose exemplary life will be a legacy to the Sangtam people and the Naga peoples at large.
While lamenting the loss, he has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
