Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi has greeted the Angami community in particular and the people of Nagaland in general on the occasion of Terhünyi festival celebration.
Ravi stated that celebrations of Terhünyi festival is thanksgiving to God for the bountiful harvest and good health to the people. He added that it is also an opportunity for the younger generation to learn the rich culture and beautiful traditions of the Angamis.
Ravi went on to stated that generosity, benevolence, unity and forgiveness are some significant essence found in Terhünyi festival.
He urged everyone to follow the Covid-19 protocols and further wished happiness, good health, prosperity and happy celebrations.
