
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan has congratulated all the newly elected members of the urban local bodies (ULBs) and said that their election is a testament to the trust placed in them by the citizens of Nagaland.
In a congratulatory note, the governor also extended “special congratulations” to the elected women members, recognising the significant achievement and the role they will play in shaping the future of the urban areas.
“I am confident that your efforts will contribute to the development and prosperity of Nagaland, fostering inclusive and sustainable growth for all communities,” Ganesan said.

He also lauded the Nagaland State Election Commission, law enforcement agencies and all poll-related officials for successful and peaceful conduct of the ULB elections.
“The smooth and efficient administration of the electoral process reflects the dedication, diligence, and commitment to upholding democratic values in our state,” he said.
Further, the governor urged upon all the newly elected members of the ULBs to serve with integrity, dedication and a vision for progress.
“I look forward to witnessing the positive changes you will bring to your respective localities,” he added.
