Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): Governor PB Acharya has expressed grief at the demise of K Medom Angami on May 12 at Dimapur.
In a condolence message, governor said Medom was a close and personal friend and one of the senior members of Bharatiya Janata Party of Nagaland unit who had served the party in various capacities for the last 18 years.
Medon was a political guru and source of strength to many party workers in the state and his demise is a great loss to the people of Nagaland in general and party in particular, the governor said.
Acharya added that his contribution for the betterment of the society and strengthening of the party will be remembered by all forever.
The governor prayed to Almighty to give strength to all family members.
