DIMAPUR — Governor La Ganesan and Chief
Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the Kuki community on the
occasion of Mimkut festival.
“May this celebration of gratitude, unity and renewal bring
abundant blessings, prosperity and happiness into your lives. As we honour the
harvest and pay homage to our ancestors, let us embrace the spirit of
togetherness, cultural pride and harmony,” Ganesan said in his greetings.
“May the traditions of Mimkut inspire us to cherish our
roots, strengthen our bonds and work towards a prosperous future,” he
added.
Rio, in his greetings on X, wrote, “Warm greetings to the
Kuki community on Mimkut, the post-harvest festival of thanksgiving and paying
homage to the ancestors. May the celebration strengthen bonds of love and
brotherhood. Wishing you all a prosperous year ahead.”
