Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): The Governor of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, Shri PB Acharya, paid a courtesy visit to the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 26.
A press note from the Raj Bhavan informed that the Governor as a tradition presented a shawl and a pineapple from Nagaland during the meeting.
He also invited the President to Nagaland that was accepted and assured to include in his 2017-18 tour itinerary.
The press note also stated that the Governor had earlier called on Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh on July 25.
He also called on union minister for Culture and Tourism, Mahesh Sharma on July 26 and discussed various issues related to the States of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
The Governor was in Delhi to attend the swearing in ceremony of the president.
