Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya will grace a 3-day Amur falcon conservation week at Doyang hydroelectric project site, NEEPCO, Wokha which is scheduled to be held from Nov. 8-10. The conservation week is being organised by the department of tourism and the department of environment, forest and climate change. The governor will grace the event on the first day i.e. Nov. 8.
Highlights of the three-day event include zip-lining to have an aerial view of the picturesque Doyang Hydro project landscape, Zorbing, boating, angling, camping and treats of exotic Lotha cuisines which will include fresh Doyang fish and organic vegetables.
The district administration, Wokha in collaboration with department of tourism and department of environment, forest and climate change has invited all the general public to witness the conservation week.
