Governor: State governor PB Acharya has expressed grief over the demise of Latong Rangkau, mother of TR Zeliang, who passed away on December 19 in Nkialwa village under Peren district.
In a condolence message addressed to the Leader of Opposition, TR Zeliang, the governor described Latong as a guiding pillar of the family. Acharya has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant strength to bear with the irreparable loss.
Rio: State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio was saddened by the demise of Latong Rangkau, mother of TR Zeliang, leader of opposition, who passed away on December 19.
In a condolence message to TR Zeliang, Rio stated that as a mother she must have faced untold hardships and challenges to nurture and bring up her children with silent prayers to keep them all safe and sound and the valuable advises and encouragements she gave to hold the family together.
Stating that loss of a mother creates a void that cannot be filled by anyone, Rio however said she has left for heavenly abode in a ripe age after living a contented life; seeing her children and grandchildren grow up and prosper.
He has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to let her soul rest in eternal peace.
NPF president: President of Naga People’s Party (NPF), Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has also mourned the demise of Latong Rangkau, wife of Rangleu Rangkau and mother TR Zeliang, leader of NPF legislature party.
Expressing sorrow and pain at the loss a person so dear as their own mother, Liezietsu stated that she died at the ripe old age of 90’s. He lauded her for raising sincere, dedicated and illustrious leaders such as TR Zeliang and other siblings to serve the Naga people to a greater height.
On behalf of all rank and file of the NPF, he has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant solace and comfort in their hour of grief. He further prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Moatoshi: MLA from 2 Dimapur-II AC, Moatoshi Longkumer, while expressing pain at the loss of Latong Rankau, hoped that the strength of the love that they shared for each other and for her would get through the difficult time.
While urging to always remember her wonderful and gentle soul, he has prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Chumben: NPF legislator and member of NPF legislature party, Dr. Chumben Murry has expressed sadness on the demise of Latongle Rangkau, mother of TR Zeliang, who passed away at a ripe old age. In a condolence message, Dr. Chumben Murry has described her as a pious lady who had lived a blessed life with full longevity.
While conveying condolence to the bereaved family members, he prayed that the Almighty God would grant them strength to bear with the loss. He has further prayed for the ternal rest ofthe departed soul.
