In connection with NDAL Project for digitization of the records of arms licenses and issue of UIN to all the arm license holders, State Home Department has directed all licensing authorities (ie) Deputy Commissioners to inform all concerned arm license holders to complete the process by March 31.
Home Department notification stated that NDAL Project for digitization of the records of the arms licenses and issue of UIN to all the licensees, by the licensing authorities, ha been undertaken for the past month and a year now. However, due to various reasons, licensing authorities in the state could not complete this exercise by the due date.
In order to enable them complete the task and to avoid inconvenience to the licensees, the last date has been extended till March 31 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. In this connection, all the Licensing Authorities (i.e.) Deputy Commissioners’ are requested to inform all the license holders and make efforts to complete the task by Marc 31 beyond which licenses would become invalid.
