- KOHIMA — A
multi-purpose hall at Government High School (GHS) Japan Riba Chozuba was
inaugurated on Tuesday by the Director of School Education, Nagaland, Razouseyi
Vese, as the special guest.
- The hall was funded and constructed by five village
communities, alumni, and well-wishers of the school.

- Addressing the event, the director acknowledged and
appreciated the five village communities—Chozuba, Runguzu, Runguzu Nasa,
Khusomi, and Chozu Basa—for coming forward to fund and construct the hall for
the students of the school.
- Vese maintained that the government school teachers are all
trained and qualified in their profession. He also encouraged the community
leaders and parents to make the best use of the facilities provided by the
government, such as the mid-day meal, free textbooks, free uniforms, etc., for
the benefit and education of their children.
- The director highlighted that the root of education is
bitter, yet the fruit is sweet. In this regard, he called upon the community to
continue their support for the development of the school while also assuring
the department's support towards the school's endeavours to the best extent
possible.
- Rev. Vesavo Shijoh, convenor of the construction committee,
gave a brief report and expressed special appreciation to all well-wishers,
including Kudecho Khamo, MLA and Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, for their generous
contribution towards the construction of the hall.
