Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): The governor of Nagaland PB Acharya congratulates a number of students who are said to have won a ‘best project of the Northeast’ award at an event, Techniche Science Fair, at Guwahati.
A message from the governor’s office on Monday congratulated Zenwang Konyak, Menthsoju K Mongzar, Khrade Veso and Pushi P Khiamniungan, all students from Kohima Science College, for bagging the “best project of the Northeast’ award at IIT Guwahati; and Paehauding, winner of the Entrepreneur Associates innovation grant fund for 2018.
Interacting with the students and the principal of Kohima Science College Dr Lily Sema, at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima on October 15, the governor “appreciated the inquisitiveness and skill that led the team to develop Gynotox Botanical Pesticide Project which aims to reduce pest organisms in vegetable crops, ornamental flowers in gardens, etc,” the message from Raj Bhavan read.
“Governor Acharya further wished the students success in their studies and future endeavour. The governor also expressed his appreciation to the principal, faculty and staff of the college for their encouragement and support given to the students,” the message stated.
