[dropcap]T[/dropcap]HE ‘Gospel Voice Hunt Nagaland’ with theme ‘The sound of victory’ organized by Youth for Christian Kingdom Ministry Dimapur was started off today at ‘Ana Ki’ Hall Dimapur.
9 contestants were selected for the next audition out of the dozens of participants who took part in the hunt.
Chief Guest during the inaugural programme of the ‘Gospel Voice Hunt Nagaland’ was Dr. Ikheto from Nikos Hospital while guest of honor was Rev. Puduhu Khosoh- member of FNR and SHISHA hoho while the judge was Inaqhu Aya, band manager of UDX.
Dr. Ikheto who has always been in love with music encouraged the participants to always sing for the glory of God by not misusing the God’s given precious talent. Advising the young participants to be humble in everything for the glory of God, he advised the participants to use their talent of singing exclusively for the Lord. Dr. Ikheto also expressed that unlike any other competition, ‘Gospel Voice Hunt Nagaland’ should not be a competition that fights for the first prize but should spread the word of God through their singing where the main reward will be ‘Giving glory to God’.
The next audition will be held at Kohima on July 28.
To be a part of the ‘Gospel Voice Hunt Nagaland’, the organizers have given a special chance for the young talented artists of Dimapur for online audition.
