three of the ongoing Ranji Trophy Plate Group final between Goa and Nagaland,
underway at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Goa resumed their second innings
at 11/0 in the morning session.
- However, they faced early pressure, losing two quick wickets
and slipping to 33/2 after 18 overs. At lunch, Kashyap Bakhale and Snehal
Kauthankar steadied the innings, guiding Goa to 95/3 after 40 overs, according
to an update.
- In the afternoon session, the partnership flourished, with
Goa reaching 149/3 after 57 overs. At stumps, Bakhale had reached a fine
unbeaten century, scoring 101* off 213 balls, supported by Kauthankar’s solid
78* off 174 balls.
- Goa ended the day at 284/3, leading by 284 runs with seven
wickets in hand.
- For Nagaland's bowling, early wickets from Nagaho Chishi and
Jagadeesha Suchith created opportunities, but the bowlers struggled to break
the critical partnership between Bakhale and Kauthankar.
- In their first innings, Goa posted 276, securing a 60-run
lead, while Nagaland was bowled out for 216 in 66.5 overs.
