Global Shapers Kohima Hub organises a financial empowerment workshop in Rüsoma village with Paweü Kayina as the resource person.

DIMAPUR — The Global Shapers Kohima Hub, an initiative of the Global Shapers Community hosted by the World Economic Forum, conducted a workshop on financial empowerment as part of its first phase of the Digital and Financial Literacy Campaign at Rüsoma village, Kohima, on January 17.
According to an update, Paweü Kayina, CEO and founder of Moneybar, was the resource person. The session was moderated by Dr. Kivi Swu, while a brief introduction to the Global Shapers Kohima Hub was given by its curator, Thungchibemo N Ezung.
Speaking at the event, Kayina underscored the importance of money management through proper budgeting and investment. She further highlighted the significance of saving as a vital step towards achieving financial freedom. The youth were also educated on measures to protect themselves from digital scams.
During the session, Muzivoto Kotso, project lead and impact officer of the Kohima Hub, encouraged village youth organisations to contact the Kohima Hub for such sessions in their community. The event was attended by the youth of Rüsoma village.
