Benny Prasad shares his Guinness World Record journey with students at MGM College, Dimapur, inspiring through faith and perseverance.

DIMAPUR — MGM College, Dimapur, hosted Benny Prasad, a Guinness World Record holder known for being the fastest person to visit all 245 nations of the world, at the college auditorium on Wednesday.
In a press release, the college stated that the programme witnessed participation from faculty members, staff, and students.
In his address, Prasad shared his life journey marked by faith, perseverance, discipline, and commitment to purpose. He encouraged students to dream big, remain rooted in strong values, and use education as a tool to positively impact society.
He also spoke about his Guinness World Record achievement, officially recognised by Guinness World Records, and highlighted the challenges he faced and the lessons he learned while travelling across nations, cultures, and continents.

Prasad said unity, respect for diversity, and the role of faith and character are important in leadership. He also presented a musical performance during the programme.
“The programme concluded with a special prayer offered by him, leaving the gathering spiritually enriched and deeply inspired.
“The visit of Benny Prasad stands as a source of encouragement and motivation for the MGM College community, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to holistic education that nurtures both intellect and character,” it stated.
Dr. RK Behera, Principal of MGM College, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the significance of such interactions for students.
The event was chaired by Vikeduonuo Zumvu, assistant professor, Department of Commerce. The invocation prayer was led by Temjen Longkumer, assistant professor, Department of Education.
