Supermodel Esther Jamir opens Glance Skilling Centre in Dimapur to empower fashion aspirants.

DIMAPUR — The Glance Skilling Centre was officially opened with a dedicatory prayer ceremony at Duncan Bosti, Tajen Ao Road, Dimapur, on Monday.
The centre was inaugurated with a prayer led by Rev. Wati Kichu and family, stated an update.
The skilling centre is an initiative under the guidance of Esther Jamir, proprietor of Glance Boutique. Jamir has been a figure in the fashion and garment industry for decades and has run Glance Boutique for the past 12 years.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamir stated that the vision of the Glance Skilling Centre goes beyond teaching stitching techniques. She stressed the importance of understanding client requirements, developing professional discipline, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry as a whole.

She highlighted that the students will not only learn basic and advanced cutting and tailoring but also receive guidance to start and manage their own tailoring units or boutiques.
She further shared that the centre aims to empower both men and women by equipping them with practical skills, confidence and entrepreneurial knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s competitive market.
The centre is scheduled to commence its courses from the third week of March 2026, with enrolment currently open.
