Girls learn baking in Mokokchung

Dimapur, Oct. 31 (EMN): The Tuensang district administration and district-level centre for women, selected five girls to undergo baking class in Mokokchung under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao from October 26 to the 31st.

Lucy Jamir from Pretty Bake, Mokokchung trained the youths for one week, an update received here on Sunday informed.

The objective of the training was to give self-confidence among the girls for sustainable living and to empower the youths for entrepreneurship in a small way, an update stated.  It also aimed to generate self-employment and to disseminate the skills and knowledge by the trained youths to others.
