Kohima, July 1 (EMN): Government Higher Secondary School Tseminyu, Chandmari Higher Secondary School, and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School registered wins on Monday, July 1, at the ongoing 3rd Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament, at the IG Stadium in Kohima.
The Government Higher Secondary School Tseminyu (GHST) beat Sacred Heart School Khuzama 1-0 in the first match. The lone goal was scored by Benlo Kent in the 16th minute.
In the second match Chandmari Higher Secondary School (CHSS) beat Model Higher Secondary School 5-0.
Three of the five goals for CHSS were scored by Pezangulie including a hat-trick, in the 8th, 47th, and 55th minute respectively. He also became the third hat-trick scorer in the tournament. Menuophretuo and Lhouvituo Kezie scored in the 21st and 45th minute.
Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) knocked out Government High School, Sechü Zubza 5-4 via a tie breaker after ending in 3-3 draw. An extra time of 15 minutes was given but could not break the draw by both teams.
Earlier, during the stipulated time of 60th minute, Ruokuovilhou, Khriesizo Yase, and Machunthai Kamei scored a goal each in the 34th, 52nd and 58th minute, for Don Bosco Higher Secondary School
As for the Government High School Sechü Zubza, two goals came from the boot of Rüüngulie Zhünyü in the 20th and 32nd minute, while Keneikolie Rino netted one goal in the 17th minute.

TM Government Higher Secondary School vs Mt. Sinai Higher Secondary School at 1 pm
Modern Academy School vs Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School at 2:40 pm
