dignitaries at the Tinker Expo Competition held at Government Higher Secondary
School, Purana Bazaar, on March 26.
- DIMAPUR — Government Higher Secondary School
(GHSS), Purana Bazaar, Dimapur, held a Tinker Expo Competition 2025 on March
26, with Aekant Jain, officer-in-charge of East Police Station, Dimapur, as the
chief guest.
- According to an update, in his address, Jain emphasised the
importance of individual contributions to society and encouraged students to
continue innovating.
- The event was chaired by Imtiwapang, with an invocation by
Limawapang and a welcome speech by principal Pipi Gloria Chishi.
- A total of 12 projects were presented, showcasing students'
creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technological innovations. The
winners of the competition were as follows: first place: GHSS Purana Bazaar;
second place: GHSS Purana Bazaar; and third place: St. Thomas Higher Secondary
School.
- The school administration expressed sincere gratitude to
Learning Links Foundation and Dell Technologies for their support in
establishing and running the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at the school.
- The ATL provided students with hands-on learning in STEM,
robotics, and coding, fostering innovation and technological skills, it said.
