GHS Shamator gets first visit by legislator in 63 years

[caption id="attachment_266184" align="aligncenter" width="565"] KT Sukhalu being felicitated at GHS Shamator on August 15.[/caption] Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, Aug. 16: Advisor of School Education, KT Sukhalu, who visited Government High School, Shamator, in Tuensang district on August 15, became the first politician to visit the school in 63 years since its establishment in 1963. The advisor attended a programme commemorating Independence Day organised by the school faculty and other town administrators. Sukhalu after inspecting the entire school and seeing the deplorable condition assured all possible assistance from the department towards the school in the days to come. He further lauded the teaching faculty on their dedication and service towards the students and for working under challenging conditions.
