GCZ extends relief to Alahuto landslide affected families

DIMAPUR — The Green Club Zunheboto (GCZ) on Wednesday extended relief to the Alahuto landslide affected families in Zunheboto district through its crowd funding project called ‘Humanity First.’

An update from the club stated that the crowd funding was responded positively by the people within the state and outside as well. It informed that the club was able to collect an amount of INR 2,30,943 through its three days crowd funding and pray for Alahuto concert.

It stated that the funds were distributed to the 12 affected families in the presence of the newly elected colony councilor, Vikheshe Aye, Alahuto council, ward disaster management authority and GBs.

Tavinto K Sumi, president of GCZ, has acknowledged the support from donors for making the project a success. The club further conveyed gratitude to all the generous donors and organisations who came forward positively to the crowd funding project.
