Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): GB Union Dimapur expressed its appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner and Regional Transport Authority for introducing mini-bus services in parts of Dimapur district.
A press release from GBUD president M Y Ngullie and general secretary (Acting), Rangau Zeliang, stated that “this has come at the right time keeping in mind the welfare of the general people which shall immensely facilitate in terms of fares and safety measure.”
The union also expressed concern over the non-adherence by auto drivers on the fare rates fixed by the district administration.
GBUD also informed the public to report such kind of exploitation to the concern authority.
Meanwhile, the GBUD also appealed to the Deputy Commissioner and Regional Transport Authority to introduce bus services from Dillai Gate New Field check gate to Chumukedima for the public convenience.
