Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): Chümoukedima Area GBs’ Union (CAGBU) has appealed to the 4-lane construction firm to provide quality work and complete the project at the earliest. The union also appealed the public to co-operate for the proper and timely completion of the 4-lane road construction works.
The union has made this appeal during its executive meeting held on July 26. The union also resolved to appeal the construction firm of the 4-lane road from Purana Bazaar to Chumukedima maintain the road which is in a deplorable conditions.
The union, in a press release issued by its president, Tokishe Achumi, and the general secretary, Pamong Phom, pointed out the present status of the road conditions which is filled with potholes. Apprising plight of the commuters, the union urged the firm to maintain the road.
It also urged for timely watering of the road to ease the problem of dust pollution to the commuters.
The union further thanked the PDA government for taking up the project.
