Dimapur, November 21: The 42nd session of Khaghaboto Area Sports’ Association and 4th GBs Trophy got underway on Monday morning at Suhoi village under Dimapur district with the motto “Excel in unity”.
Parliamentary secretary for Irrigation and Flood Control, N Jacob Zhimomi graced the inaugural function as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest urged the sportsperson to compete in true sportsmanship spirit stating that winning alone was not much importance but competing in sporting spirit and discipline does.Jacob urged the sports persons to have focus and pursue it with dedication and commitment. Altogether eleven villages are taking part in the event.
