Kohima, Sep. 14 (EMN): Gazelle FC defeated champions of the Morning Premier League Power Comm FC 2-0 at the ongoing Morning Champions Cup 2017 here at the Seikhazou ground on Thursday morning.
During the match, Mar opened the scoring in the 13th minute for Gazelle FC and Lalal set up Ado to score the second goal in the 20th minute. There was no comeback from Power Comm side as Gazelle sealed their convincing victory to get their three points in Group B.
Champions of the Morning Premier League Power Comm FC slumped into another successive defeat at the hand of debutant team Gazelle FC on Thursday. While Gazelle secured their first win in the tournament after playing two matches in the tournament.
