Garo Students’ Union Dimapur unit formed

[caption id="attachment_136142" align="alignleft" width="550"] Garo Students’ Union Nagaland Zone with the newly formed union members during the formation meet at Indisen village, Dimapur.[/caption] Dimapur, Sep 1 (EMN): The Garo Students’ Union Nagaland Zone held a meeting at the residence of Imsusenla Marak, Indisen village Dimapur on August 30, with all the Garo students and youths residing at Dimapur town area for formation and selection of office bearers for its unit. The newly formed unit called Garo Students’ Union Dimapur Town Unit will function under the supervision and guidance of Garo Students’ Union Nagaland Zone (Central Committee) as a constituent body and will be headed by Imsusenla Marak as president, Serna Sangma as general secretary and Ezekial Sangma as treasurer. During the meeting, president of GSUNZ, Cliff Sangma, encouraged the Garo youths to be hard working and responsible in achieving their goal. He also urged them to do away with corruption and anti-social activities. Further, he congratulated the Garo Students’ Union Dimapur Town Unit on its formation and advised them to work united.
