The Kohima District Volleyball Association will organise the G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy in October.
DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will host the G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (13th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament) in the last week of October at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).
This was resolved during the first executive meeting of the KDVA for the tenure 2026–2029, held recently at the residence of KDVA President Mhalelhou Mere.
According to an update, the KDVA Foundation Day falls on September 3 every year. However, to make the day convenient for all members, the association agreed to postpone the foundation day celebration to September 5.
Meanwhile, the new team of office bearers of the KDVA for the tenure 2026–29 was also announced.

The team includes President Mhalelhou Mere; Vice President (Admn) Hetuo Solo; Vice President (Sport) Neivikhotuo Vielie; Secretary Keneikhotuo; Joint Secretary Vikhozolie Rülho; Treasurer Virüno Chase; Technical Secretary Vilesü Mekro; Assistant Technical Secretaries Visakuolie Kengurüse and Avitsi; Property Secretaries Pekruzekho Casavi and Keneilhoulie Chietsü; Women Coordinators Ruovikhonuo Kiewhuo, Abu Chietsü, Kezhasenuo Kuotsu, and Nokethono; and Publicity Secretaries Chizokho Vero and Visosienuo Shüya.
The advisors include Visasielie Suhu, Keviselhou Peseyie, and Keneilezo Sechü.
