Dimapur, Jan. 31 (EMN): Wokha beat Mokokchung by 19 runs and set up the final with Dimapur in the ongoing 2nd Late G Rio memorial U-19 (Boys) inter-district tournament at Nagaland Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Wokha set a total of 156 runs all out in 37.1 overs. Renjanthung contributed 39 runs, while Mhathung and Rananbemo scored 31 runs and 23 runs respectively, an update informed.
Rohit Kumar Sah and Monu Kumar collected four and two wickets each for Mokochung.
Mokokchung managed to score 137 runs all out in 36.1 overs with Nripen Rai contributing 45 runs to the team score. Thechamo Odyuo secured four wickets and John Shitiri claimed three wickets for Wokha.
In the second match played at Sovima Cricket Ground, Peren won the toss against Tuensang and opted to field first.
Tuensang managed to score only 56 runs all out in 20.4 overs. I Changsomba scored 21 runs for Tuensang, while Pauramdibe Mpom collected five wickets for Peren.
Peren scored 62 runs all out in 28.2 overs and won the match by six wickets. Bamyibe Npanme and Rohit scored 21 runs and 16 runs for the team.
For Tuensang, Gautam Singh and Koirul collected two wickets each.
The final will be played at Nagaland Cricket Stadium on Feb. 2 (Wednesday) between Dimapur and Wokha at 9 am, it informed.
