G Kaito Aye condoles the demise of Kihozhe S Zhimomi, Akukatou of Ghukhuyi village, who died aged 88.
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Minister for Public Works Department (Roads & Bridges) G Kaito Aye has expressed sadness over the demise of Kihozhe S Zhimomi, Akukatou of Ghukhuyi village, who passed away at the age of 88 in Dimapur on Monday.
In a condolence message, Aye described Zhimomi as a man of upright character and a highly respected elder.
He stated that as an educator and public servant, Zhimomi devoted his younger days to serving the people of Satakha, shaping lives and strengthening the community with integrity, wisdom and dedication.
He said Zhimomi's passing was an irreparable loss not only for Ghukhuyi village and Satakha but also for the Sumi community in general. On a personal note, Aye said Zhimomi was a father figure to him.
“He stood by me with steadfast counsel and unwavering support, and I will always remember his guidance with deep gratitude. He will be deeply missed.”
On behalf of himself and his family, Aye extended condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and the people of Ghukhuyi village and Satakha.
“May the Almighty God grant strength and comfort to the family in this hour of sorrow and may the departed soul rest in eternal peace,” the message read.
